In the back of their minds, all swimming pool owners know the risk of silence, the body of water lurking in the backyard. Even more to families with children, a swimming pool can be a silent murderer. Consider this list of the ten most common, and the shortcomings of the most dangerous swimming pool:

10) Electrical
Appropriate electrical installation for a swimming pool and all its components is essential as water, electricity and people are a mixture dangerous. Pools, and all metal components within a meter of the water line should be bonded with a strong grounding wire loop. In addition all electrical devices that are in close contact with water, such as pumps and lights must be properly connected to a switch GFIC or ground fault.

As the surfaces of the indoor pool of the age and time that the algae will develop and become very slippery, especially in wet conditions. Spring will be here soon and so will the task of opening your pool. Planning ahead can make the job much easier. No nothing worse than realizing your short stock shock when you're in the midst of preparing the pool. So let's make a first list of chemicals that you may need.

There will be different needs depending on the type of pool you own, so this list is general. Consult your pool pump and instructions for additional information.

• The liquid or powder Shock
• Chlorine powder or tablets
• Bromine
• increase pH or pH decrease
• Disinfection of cartridges for cartridge filters
• A test kit or bottle of test strips to test pH and chlorine levels

Before fleeing to their local pool supply store for chemicals, now would be the time to check all hoses, clamps, skimmer baskets, gaskets and O-rings. If any of the parties seem to need to be replaced, take it with you to the swimming pool supply store. It is much easier to match replacement parts if you have the old part with you.

Now that you've finished the easy part, it's time to go to work. The first thing is needed is to get the cover. Get some help with this, as you want to avoid that water up in the water of the pool. If you have a pool on land, water siphon with a hose. If you have a pool in the soil you have to use a sump pump to remove water on top.

To get a good siphon started, connect the hose to the spigot and put the other end of the hose in the water on top. Turn the hose in a minute or so to complete. Next bend the hose one or two feet away from the key, and with the other hand, disconnect the hose from the faucet. Place drain hose in a downspout to discharge then release the crimp. And reverse water begins to drain.

Once you have cleaned the water, use a leaf rake to remove as many leaves and branches as possible. Then remove the cover of weights or springs. At this time of a few places around the pool will help keep the cover off the water. Try to bend the cover as a blanket keeping the litter layer in the middle then the top. You need to scrub the cover thoroughly and properly dry summer storage.

Now is the time to connect all the hoses from the pump. Remember lubricant plugs, fittings, valves and O-rings with petroleum jelly. Also be sure to remove any plugs ice were used to cover the openings in the hose. You are more likely to add water to the pool. Must be filled to the halfway point skimmer.

At this point you should begin to re-circulate the water and check for leakage around the pump and hoses. Once your pool is free of leaks and leaking, remove floating debris as much as you can with your skimmer net. Open all the valves to flood the hoses and prime the pool pump. Most manufacturers recommend constantly recirculating the pool water for at least three days. Any dirt and debris on the sides and bottom of the pool will have to be washed off. Use brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner for this group.

After all waste is removed and the pool has been cleaned, check your filter for cleaning. Some pumps have a removable filter, others are back-red, as clean as directed. Once the filter is clean, you can now download super water according to the manufacturer. If you start with green water, will have much more impact. May take a few days to clean water recirculation. Once the water has cleared, test your water or take a sample to your pool supply store and have it analyzed. Adjust the water as needed and maintain recirculation. All that's left to do now is wait to hot water so you can start enjoying your pool.

One account is easy to install. Unlike the overlapping of the shirts, accounts come in a wide range of styles. You must measure the exact size of your pool wall before buying a molded one.

The last type of land above the coating line is uni-grain. This type of investment linked to profits of overlapping accounts and pool liners. Uni-bead pool liners is very easy to install as the pool liner overlap. They also have the benefits to be heavy and comes in many design decisions.
