Are you interested in getting hot water pool and extend your swimming season? Did you know that you can build your own pool heater and get better results that you buy in a store? There are ways to make a pool heater and get the water to be much warmer than we are accustomed. Here is a simple plan you use to about 12 degrees in water temperature in Indiana.

First, you will have to go to a local hardware store and obtain 100 feet of black pipe. This should be at least half an inch in diameter. You will also want to get about 10 to 15 feet of PVC pipe that can fit perfectly at the end of the black tube. You should be able to double the black tube and should not be really thick. You also need a 2 to 8 feet and 2 by 4s, valve closure that fits in the PVC pipe and a pump.

Then, you have to take the 2 by 4s and drill holes in them enough great for the black tube to fit between them. Then cut in half long way to taking a stand to hold the black tube. Now you have to run the black pipe round in tight loops without folds from 2 by 4s. You want 4 sections of 2 by 4's that are 4 feet long each.

Finally, you mount this part of the heating on a roof or somewhere that will be in direct sunlight. We mounted on a roof that was short more than a fenced in area for our dogs, but could be mounted in a shed or a house too. So, will connect the PVC pipes and shutoff valve to the return of the water and pump and some of the PVC to the other end. Be sure to mount the pump in a dry and flat.

Unfortunately, all I got was a picture the color was all things with different shades of green that I had used dark green lenses. What cant't understand is that if a camera can not discriminate between different colors through a green filter my eyes how they do it? Any explanations or comments. JIGYASU

Bass fishing usually requires a fishing pole, but there are other ways, and that is what this story is about. A warning though: The techniques described here are almost certainly illegal wherever you go fishing. They were fun when we were kids … although

Bass fishing from a raft

Wilsey Bay in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan is known for its good smallmouth bass fishing. Swimming is not so bad either, so we built the raft. My friend Bruce was probably the oldest at the same time, about twelve years old. It was probably his idea of using barrels of oil flotation. Four of them, topped by a pallet wood and plywood nailed together, made a raft that could support seven or eight people.

We anchor in the center of the bay. It's a little bay deep, so that the center was only about two meters deep. This would be our swimming area, but more than that. We started to carry out small trees and sink with milk jugs full of sand and pieces of cement blocks. Of course, we knew it was illegal to build an artificial environment for fish. In fact, we knew that this was what we were doing. We have built walls of rocks under the water too.

Within weeks there were schools of fish hanging below our raft on the racks and tree branches. There was some perch, but most of them were smallmouth bass. As we watched then swimming below us and then as he saw them next to us during the dives. I had an idea. Who needs a fishing rod when you can get so close to the fish?

Bruce kept the bucket ready in the boat, which was tied to the raft. He had a hook and a metro line. I tied the hook to one end of line and tied the other end of my finger. I retreaded water, while Bruce bait the hook with half a worm. Launched the line on the edge of the boat.

Swimming through the trees, just let the baited hook floating beside me, trying to keep it out of my body a couple of feet. Could only contain breath for a minute or less, but for the second dive under ten inches was launched off the tree branches and took the bait. I swam to the boat and Bruce up for drinking. Only barely legal – or at least would have been if not for the trees. On the other hand, maybe it's a fishing rod a legal requirement. Bruce threw it into the bucket and went back for more.

The small stream that enters the bay was sometimes stopped by the sand that accumulated during storms. Then the water would build up behind the arena for days until it is released and opened the script again. Not always hope, however. Once there was enough water pressure, a single channel dug in the sand by hand, from the stream dammed to the bay, was enough to get it going. It would start slowly and then an hour the creek that flows into the bay, twenty feet in diameter where our three-inch channel was.

From the stream flowed so fast seldom usually came up with other things that were not normal. The fish that had been in the creek behind dam all get purged, for example. The day of the perch "flush" the river had opened about thirty feet wide but only inches deep. As the bass came out, grabbed them by hand until we had a couple of dozen in a bucket. We have built a pool on the beach for them, because it was too much for eat at once.

Another Child Fishing Techniques

We took a smell at a time by hand with a flashlight, some forty in an hour or two. We have beaten suckers on the ad boldly brought to the nearby creek. She would be the pressure to cook with tomato sauce, and came to look and taste almost like canned salmon. Half of herself – who was in charge of cooking for us.

If bass fishing without a pole or clubbing buds, these probably are not techniques that you want to try unless you want to meet with the local ranger. And I have to warn you that the last time I tried using just a hook and a piece of line, the little fish my thumb and drew blood. Yes, I can be the only person who never had blood drawn by the bite of a smallmouth bass. But remember how much fun fishing childhood could be fun.
