Ground Pool Filter
Can you fit a filter above ground pool sand to work with a 15 'frame of steel pool Intex?
I have a filter Tagelus sand (do not know the model, but left a 24 'standard above ground pool), and wants to adapt for use in the 15' X 42 'frame Intex steel pool. The threaded inlet and outlet are exactly the same size as the delivery and return provided by the pool, so it needs slightly Hose large (not sure that they are exactly sized to work with the ports of entry and exit in the pool), or become smaller (small?) thread inlet and outlet of the pump and filter. Would you like to go with sand filter, because I think in the long run, be cheaper to operate the sand filter keep trying to clean and paper filters buy the media that comes with the Intex pool! Any idea or suggestion of the expert group there or anywhere another with the same problem, for that matter!??
