Las Vegas tips for beginners? Only two days to see sin city!?
We're actually going to Los Angeles for a week in August, but I could not use my frequent flyer miles to get there. Instead, we're flying to Las Vegas and driving from LA I thought I could also get a little the taste of the city of sin, while we're there. We will fly in on Saturday night, two nights stay and head to Los Angeles on Monday 5pm. Anyway, not a lot of time. I hope some of you could help me narrow down the list of things to see a little. We stayed at Treasure Island, basically because I have a great package and appeared in the center of everything. Let's play a little, but are primarily interested in the bright lights, fun and alcohol. Here is what I have so far: Bellagio Fountains at the Mirage volcano Rides Stratosphere TI Pirate Show Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat Star Trek Invasion? – Is it worth the price? Looking for cheap things to do, see, drink and eat, and generally is not something to lose.

Sitting on a machine in the casino will give the same. Tip the waitress or waiter a dollar or two will keep returning. Normally, no conditions, you pull the lever and win something. Usually a keychain or a hat, sometimes a free buffet. Sometimes it's a coupon a book for "fun" (a book of coupons for the casino). To get the fun book, you can be sure you're going to have to walk a very, very corner in the casino. They want you WAY inside. 5. $ 40 to $ 20: Some casinos offer $ 40 in slot play for $ 20. Things to see (and most are FREE!): 1.The Freemont Street Experience: Every night There is a light show and music spanning blocks. It's incredible to see … and is FREE. Freemont Street is in downtown Las Vegas, will have to take a taxi if you have a car. The street is blocked by traffic and you can stand in the street and look up and see the show. (Another place to maintain strict control in your wallet.) There is a different show every 30 minutes, beginning at 8:00 or 8:30 PM. Center city used to be ugly and scary, but they have been cleaned and is now clean and safe. But not far off of Fremont, in any of the side streets. You probably do not want anyway, most of the action is right on Freemont. 2.The Bellagio Fountains: Do not miss this! Is 900 feet long row of fountains that dance to music. Very impressive! 3.Caesars Forum Shops: If you feel like strolling through Rome, check out the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Here is also where the talking statues live. You feel like you're in Italy, as you stroll along the canal and visit the shops. You can even take a walk gondola. Pretty cool to see. Head through of foliage to the main lobby and check out the wall behind the desk. BIG is a salt-water aquarium. Opposite the hotel is a large waterfall turns into an erupting volcano (loud, bright and hot!) in the evening. A trip to Las Vegas without seeing the volcano erupt not only would a trip to Las Vegas. 6.The http://www.themirage.com/ Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo: An outdoor habitat located in the Flamingo. You can see the live flamingos (still have not discovered how to kidnap one), plus many other birds, fish and turtles. 7.Masquerade http://www.vegas.com/attractions/on_the_strip/wildlifehabitat.html People in Rio: Masquerade Village is inside the casino at the Mirage. There is a parade in the sky with music and dancing and lights which is pretty cool to see. This is outside the strip, too far to walk, but there is a shuttle service that runs from the Rio and Harrah's backs.
