Are you interested in getting hot water pool and extend your swimming season? Did you know that you can build your own pool heater and get better results that you buy in a store? There are ways to make a pool heater and get the water to be much warmer than we are accustomed. Here is a simple plan you use to about 12 degrees in water temperature in Indiana.

First, you will have to go to a local hardware store and obtain 100 feet of black pipe. This should be at least half an inch in diameter. You will also want to get about 10 to 15 feet of PVC pipe that can fit perfectly at the end of the black tube. You should be able to double the black tube and should not be really thick. You also need a 2 to 8 feet and 2 by 4s, valve closure that fits in the PVC pipe and a pump.

Then, you have to take the 2 by 4s and drill holes in them enough great for the black tube to fit between them. Then cut in half long way to taking a stand to hold the black tube. Now you have to run the black pipe round in tight loops without folds from 2 by 4s. You want 4 sections of 2 by 4's that are 4 feet long each.

Finally, you mount this part of the heating on a roof or somewhere that will be in direct sunlight. We mounted on a roof that was short more than a fenced in area for our dogs, but could be mounted in a shed or a house too. So, will connect the PVC pipes and shutoff valve to the return of the water and pump and some of the PVC to the other end. Be sure to mount the pump in a dry and flat.

Having a pool can be fun but also may require a lot of maintenance and to keep the pool clean and sanitation is of utmost importance in achieving maximum enjoyment from it. In the back of their minds, all swimming pool owners know the risk of silence, the body of water lurking in the backyard. Even more to families with children, a swimming pool can be a silent murderer. Consider this list of the ten most common, and the shortcomings of the most dangerous swimming pool:

10) Electrical
Appropriate electrical installation for a swimming pool and all its components is essential as water, electricity and people are a mixture dangerous. Pools, and all metal components within a meter of the water line should be bonded with a strong grounding wire loop. In addition all electrical devices that are in close contact with water, such as pumps and lights must be properly connected to a switch GFIC or ground fault.

9) Slippery Decks
As the surfaces of the indoor pool of the age and time that the algae will develop and become very slippery, especially in wet conditions. To reduce the risk of falls or slips into a pool terrace, wash deck pressure annually. The levels of chemicals in water can also affect prone skin reactions.

6) Chemical Storage
Your chemicals for swimming pools are a potent mix of strong acids, alkalis and poisons. Even worse is that many of these chemicals react specifically with the others, however, are often stored in the same location with very little effort to safekeeping. The chemicals must be investigated and stored in a controlled, dry and locked at all times.

5) Winter Pool Covers
